For 2024, the Code Blue Challenge will be taking racers through the rolling hills of eastern dane county

 

Racers can choose from two races, a 4 hour race geared towards beginners and a 10 hour race for those seeking a little more quality time with nature.

Cost

Entry fee includes land use fees, maps, sport tech t-shirts, canoes (with needed gear), insurance, and a post race meal and beverages. Each car that is parked at race HQ will need a Wisconsin state park sticker. This can be purchased day of race as teams enter the park.

Due to the added costs of providing materials and boat rental to a single racer, there will be an additional $25 fee added to solo entries.

 

Early registration closes Saturday April 27th:
4 Hour = $90/racer
10 hour = $120/racer

Regular registration closes Saturday May 25th:
4 hour = $100
10 hour = $135

Late registration closes Friday May 31st:
4 hour = $110
10 hour = $150

 

Refund Policy

Full refund up to May 18th, 75% refund up to May 31st, no refunds given after this date. Teams that are a no show on race day will not be eligible for a refund.

Paddling

2-4 person coed teams will be considered in the premier division for awards/final standings. All other teams will be racing in the open division

Preliminary Distances, final will be determined closer to race

4 hour:
Bike 6-15 miles
Trek 2-5 miles
Paddle 3-5 miles

10 hour:
Bike 30-40 miles
Trek 10-12 miles
