For 2023, the Code Blue Challenge will be returning to the driftless zone of Wisconsin to take on the rolling hills, the calm lakes, and Rock Face Cliffs with one of the best views in the state.
Racers can choose from two races, a 5 hour race geared towards beginners and a 12 hour race for those seeking a little more quality time with nature.

Cost
Entry fee includes land use fees, maps, sport tech t-shirts, ropes gear, and a post race meal and beverages. Those racing in the 12 hour race will also need to purchase a USARA 1-day membership ($8) if you do not already have a yearly membership ($35), which can be done through USARA.com. 5 hour racers do not need a USARA membership.
Early registration closes Saturday April 30:
5 Hour = $80/racer
12 hour = $120/racer
Regular registration closes Saturday May 28th:
5 hour = $90
12 hour = $135
Late registration closes Friday June 3rd:
5 hour = $100
12 hour = $150

Refund Policy
Full refund up to May 20th, 75% refund up to June 3rd, no refunds given after June 3rd. Teams that are a no show on race day will not be eligible for a refund.

The ropes course is a permanent fixture that maintains an annual safety certification. No former ropes experience is necessary. Race management will provide all the equipment needed to complete this section, as well as having trained personnel at each station to ensure climber safety. If a team chooses not to complete the ropes section, a bypass route will be provided but there will be a penalty for not participating in the task.

Accomodations
A limited amount of lodging will be available at race headquarters for $40 per person. Teams can reserve a room with an ensuite bathroom/shower for either Friday or Saturday night, or both for $70 per person. If you prefer more luxurious accommodations, there are several hotels in Dodgeville which is less than 15 minutes from race HQ. Race management will coordinate the lodging at HQ once we confirm a team’s race entry.

All Code Blue Challenge race lengths are part of the United States Adventure Racing Association points series.
